All are invited to join us at 7:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve for our traditional candle-lighting service. The service is family-friendly, designed for all ages. We hope you will share this blessed time with your neighbors at Camden United Methodist Church.
Please join us on Saturday, December 2nd at 10:00 a.m. to help decorate our church for Christmas. Afterwards, the Ladies Fellowship will be providing pizza for those who help with the decorating. Come join us for some fun and fellowship while we make our church beautiful!
Tired of all the holiday hustle and bustle? Wondering whatever happened to the real spirit of Christmas? Help your family get back to basics by joining us for our Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 p.m. on December 24th. The time is intentionally set early enough for even the oldest and youngest members of the family to be able to participate. We’d love to have you and your family make our service part of your holiday tradition.
All members of the church are invited to join in decorating the church sanctuary for Christmas (kids included). Come help usher in the Advent Season!
Refreshments will be served afterwards.
Please join us on Christmas Eve as we gather to celebrate this special holiday in scripture and in song. As always, a portion of the service will include the singing of “Silent Night” as we light and raise our candles in tribute to our awesome Lord. And this year, there will be a special part in the service for our younger members, as well. So come join us and make this very special service a part of your family Christmas tradition. All are welcome.
On Sunday, December 20th, our choir presented us with a beautiful cantata, “Tell the World Jesus is Born!”. The integration of the choir’s voices and images on the screen made for a thoroughly inspiring addition to the service. We’re looking forward to hearing a small portion of it again on Christmas Eve. Thank you, Choir members!
Orders for poinsettias and Christmas wreaths are due to the church secretary no later than Sunday, Nov. 22nd. Order forms can be obtained in the church office. Don’t forget to designate someone you wish to honor or remember if you are planning to leave your plant in the sanctuary during the Christmas season. Checks may be made payable to Elaine Gelinas.
Plants will be delivered to the church on Sunday, December 6th. Please pick yours up in the Fellowship Hall. Those you are planning to leave as a decoration can be placed in the sanctuary. Please note where you place yours so that you can keep it watered during the holidays.
