Ever wished you could learn more about the Bible and its people in a safe, accepting environment? How about other religions? the role of religion in history and politics? the history and organization of the United Methodist Church? how the Bible can guide us in 21st century living? If so, our Wednesday evening Adult Study Group (known as Loaves and Fishes) may be just what you’re looking for!
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 in the Church Library to discuss wide-ranging topics of interest to today’s Christian community. Our format is usually to share a meal and then spend some time discussing the topic of the week. There is no attendance requirement (the group is very fluid). You just come when you can or are inspired to. There is no pressure to participate. Just join in when you feel comfortable.
We are currently studying a program called “Get Their Name” about building relationships with people. The discussion is based on a book by the same name and a video for each session. Extra books are available at the church office.
We’d love to have you join us!
